Conservation Biology

Growing threats to the global environment have resulted in an increasing loss of biodiversity and elevated rates of extinction. Changes in public perceptions and legislation have led to an increase in the demand for professionals with the knowledge and skills to manage the conservation of species and ecosystems. Our campus is ideally placed, with easy access to Cumbria’s extensive natural habitats, biodiversity and internationally important coastal sites.
