Applied Chemistry

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in Applied Chemistry. Theoretical principles are underpinned by a practical element to the course, giving you the opportunity to gain confidence in a range of chemistry techniques, including inorganic, organic, physical and analytical techniques. Furthermore, students will develop their ICT skills and apply the scientific principles within applied study and/or vocational settings. This programme is offered to students who are currently employed and seek a degree qualification as part of their agreed Professional Development. There will be embedded work based elements within the programme design and assessment methods.
