Animal Conservation Science (with integrated foundation year)

You will gain a firm foundation in scientific, intellectual and investigative skills and knowledge from which to progress onto your chosen BSc (Hons) programme. Practical laboratory work and an inter-disciplinary approach to science as well as developing your academic knowledge are all part of the course. It aims to provide a thorough grounding in the core disciplines of conservation biology addressing conservation from the animal towards the landscape scale. You have opportunity to take an optional one-year work placement; we have a strong network of professional contacts. We have very high graduate employment from all of our courses and this programme equips you with the skills required in the conservation sector.
