Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery

Working closely with BA (Hons) Contemporary Jewellery, with a number of staff members who are practising jewellers and smiths, you'll occupy your own dedicated workspace. And you'll be surrounded by a community of practitioners fuelled by a collaborative, creative vibe. Long-standing links with industry and leading organisations such as The Goldsmiths' Company and the British Art Medal Society will give you the chance to take part in competitions, build your profile and develop a high level of craftsmanship. Lots of our students and graduates have an excellent reputation within the industry and some have had outstanding successes in major competitions. Many within our Silversmithing, Goldsmithing & Jewellery teaching team are practising designer-makers, highly regarded within their profession - ensuring that the syllabus is constantly evolving to meet the latest trends.
