Fashion Atelier

The atelier studio is a fixture of companies as diverse as Calvin Klein and Chanel. The need for practitioners within this area of craft and expertise - where time, application and tradition are matched by creativity, modernity and experimentation - is vital to the industry. Our Fashion Atelier course has been developed to meet this demand, giving you a deep understanding of the overall process of the atelier and its professional requirements. During this degree, you'll learn essential specialist technical and creative skills for handcraft tailoring, couture-inspired fashion and contemporary design for the modern wardrobe. These also include design communication skills such as illustration and computer-aided design. This is a very hands-on course focused on specialist draping, cutting and making to the highest standards, where tradition and technology both play a part and where you'll apply traditional methods to innovative and experimental design solutions.
