Computer Games Technology

You can be at the forefront of new gaming technology through this course, founded on the principle of User-Centred Design (UCD). You’ll learn how to consider users throughout each stage of the game design and development process. This ethos differs from other design approaches, explicitly setting out to design outcomes for how users can, want or need to play and interact with games. You’ll learn how to establish and refine requirements through investigative methods, including ethnographic study, contextual inquiry, prototyping and usability testing.
