Natural Hazard Management and Spanish

Our Natural Hazard Management (NHM) course presents you with opportunities to gain practical (field/laboratory) experience of hazard assessment in British and overseas settings, and to develop the ability to apply geospatial mapping technologies (e.g. Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Remote Sensing (RS)) to evaluate/manage risks posed by natural hazards. Spanish: By the end of the course you will have had the opportunity to develop your language skills to a very high level as well as studied a range of cultural and historical contexts. You will also have had the chance to undertake exciting placements in Spain and or Latin America, to gain invaluable employment skills and knowledge of current affairs.
