Film Studies and TV Production

Teaching takes place at the Warrington Campus. For Film Studies, you will learn about the popularity and power of film and its importance across a variety of contexts. Your studies will enhance your understanding of film and film practices, while also developing critical and analytical thinking skills. Across all three levels of the degree, you will study the historical, social, aesthetic, industrial and economic pressures that have shaped film into a popular global cultural form. For Television Production, the course promises to challenge you to have new experiences and think in different ways, to get outside your comfort zone and turn homework into your work. We have lots of students who thrive in the media industry, and the course prepares you to be an informed, and resourceful person in any employment.
