Events Management and Media Studies

Events management is a dynamic industry and this Combined Honours degree allows study with another subject such as Advertising, Digital Photography, and other Media subjects. Warrington hosts a number of events annually, including Creamfields festival. Our staff have experience of managing events, and we are members of the Association for Events Management Education. Media Studies provides an opportunity to study the most influential and ubiquitous product of the 21st century. Many people, from audiences to governments, owners to distributors, seek to have influence over the media, to influence or control what we see, hear or read – and how. You will ask critical questions about the media industry and have the opportunity to develop a wide range of transferable abilities, which are welcome in many graduate roles. Teaching takes place at the Warrington Campus.
