Medical Sciences - University of Central Lancashire

The BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences programme is designed to prepare students for further study on professional programmes; such as graduate entry Medicine, Dentistry or Physician Associate Studies, Masters or PhD studies, as well as creating opportunities for students to competitively apply for careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries or academia. Your scientific knowledge alongside your transferable skills will prepare you to become a highly competitive candidate for entry onto graduate entry medicine, dentistry, physician associate and other professional study programmes. Graduates from this programme will also be highly competitive candidates for further postgraduate study at MSc, MPhil and PhD level. With a strong focus on developing independent thinking and analytical skills, students will also be competitive in the workplace sector, especially for jobs within healthcare, clinical and scientific industries. **Course Highlights** •A ‘gateway’ course to prepare you becoming highly competitive candidates for graduate entry medicine, dentistry, Physician Associate, or other professional programmes. •A unique course embedded within a medical school, providing a core clinical foundation not offered on many other ‘gateway’ courses.
