Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to enter directly onto their chosen Honours degree programme. Get a valuable insight into the nature of the accounting process and its varied applications in business life, enabling you to pursue a career as a professional Chartered Certified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). It is also a great choice if you wish to pursue other professional accounting qualifications or are aiming for a career in management. As a graduate of this course you will be equipped to assume a responsible role early in your career. Students have gained jobs in a wide range of business areas throughout industry and commerce, typically in business and finance professional roles, e.g. trainee chartered accountant, and associate roles, e.g. trader, and also in the public sector and other non-profit making organisations. You’ll be offered the opportunity to study overseas for at least one semester. In recent years students on the course have studied at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Western Sydney.
