Paramedic Practice

Accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), this course provides everything students need to work as a paramedic. Students spend 50% of each academic year on placement with the South East Coast Ambulance Trust and in other healthcare settings such as labour wards and cardiac units, enabling them to confidently put theory into practice. Students also practice in the university's Clinical Skills and Simulation Suite and Flexible Learning Environment (community flat). Successful graduates are eligible for registration as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and therefore fully qualified to begin their career in this fulfilling line of work.
