Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board this three-year qualifying law degree combines academic study with opportunities to experience law in practice. The course prepares students for a career as a legal professional or as a legal specialist within an organisation, and qualifies them to train as a solicitor or barrister after graduation. Learning is enhanced by guest lectures by legal practitioners and judges, and there are opportunities to take part in industry-sponsored competitions in mooting, negotiations and client interviewing. An optional placement year enables students to put their skills to practice, build industry contacts and boost their CV.
