Humanities: War, Conflict and Modernity

This degree enables students to critically investigate violent conflict including war, genocide, state violence, terrorism, as well as conflict resolution. Students learn through small, seminar-led teaching which helps them to develop the skills to think, write and engage in debate in an independent and critical way. Learning is supported by lectures from academic experts. Students graduate with transferable skills useful for careers in international activist organisations, charities, the museum sector, teaching, the public sector and academia.
