Film Production (Top-Up) - University of Brighton

This course is taught at a partner college, Brighton Film School, at their premises in central Brighton. Upon successful completion you will receive a degree from the University of Brighton. This is a one-year top-up degree aimed at students who have studied practical media or arts subjects such as film making, art direction or creative media at either a foundation degree, HND or equivalent level. A three-year option is available for students holding A level or equivalent qualifications. This practical course provides students with an industry-relevant offering that includes a critical understanding of applied film theory, with current industry insight and practice in film production, and the creative and technical skills to function effectively in film, television and associated sectors such as music promo, television commercials and branded virals. Brighton Film School runs one of the few degree courses that teaches on professional super 16mm and 35mm film cameras and their modern counterparts, 4K digital cinema cameras.
