The Marine Biology degree is unique because it is an interdisciplinary degree program (IDP) combining the strengths of three universities within the Texas A&M University System: A&M-Corpus Christi, A&M Galveston, and A&M College Station. You can choose courses from any campus to develop your specialty. You will gain practical research experience as you work to identify new species and harmful algal toxins in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific. Upon graduation, you will go on to work in government and private research organizations, or seek employment with aquariums, zoos, and museums.
