Summary: Whilst on the programme, you develop the knowledge and skills to be able to successfully instruct sport and fitness sessions to individuals and groups in a variety of settings. You study the core principles of sport leadership and fitness instruction, applying these in various practical settings throughout the two-year course. Course details: You may also have the option to complete vocationally recognised qualifications to prepare you for employment. A cost will be associated with the additional awards and successful completion of additional exams will be required. There is also the option of progressing onto the third year of Teesside University’s BSc (Hons) Applied Sport and Exercise degree. After the course: You should be well prepared for careers in sport and fitness when you graduate.
