**Summary**: This integrated master’s course provides the knowledge and skills required to enter industries such as aerospace, robotics, automotive, manufacturing, medical, marine, rail, renewable energy, oil and gas, power and process. **Course details**: The University has exceptional links with local engineering companies allowing you to enhance your experience and employability through placements and professional mentoring schemes. The first three years incorporate some modules from the BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering but overall you study a wider range of modules duirng the MEng. You cover technical subject areas as well as developing management, leadership and entrepreneurship skills. You also complete practical activities including group-work and individual projects. **After the course**: Graduate mechanical engineers can seek employment in almost every sector of industry, including: automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, marine, medical, rail, power, processing, chemical, oil and gas, and food production industries.
