Summary: This integrated foundation year degree programme prepares you for degree-level study in a range of disciplines across the humanities. With a focus on critical thinking, academic research, professional writing, and communication skills, you build the knowledge and confidence to progress to Level 4. Course details: You get an overview of history from ancient civilisations to contemporary history. You develop your understanding of the nature of historical enquiry, including the relationships between sources, theory and interpretation. During your course, you acquire key transferable skills including critical thinking, and verbal and written communication – all highly valued by employers.
