Law and Media

If you are interested in studying the history, theory and practice that incorporates skills and techniques relevant to the modern digital media, digital journalism, creative digital practice; video production; radio production; film and public relations industries alongside Law then this is the degree for you. Our Law and Media degree programme offers you the opportunity to: • Be taught by staffs who are specialist International researchers and also ex-professionals lecturing on video production, web and creative design, PR and journalism. • Combine the study of history, theory and practice that incorporates skills and techniques relevant to the modern digital media including social media, , creative digital practice; video production; radio production; film and public relations industries. • Be trained to apply legal concepts in a practical environment providing you with a solid foundation for a career in law. Our media and communication department achieved 100% student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2016 and the National Student Survey 2015. Our Employability Officer supports our students with information and advice which is backed up by the University’s Careers Service and Work Placement Team. All students have access to events, workshops and employer talks, including an annual conference for students in June to support final year students with the transition into the world of work.
