International Relations with French

If you are interested in studying the international system, key issues and gain an appreciation of the global dynamics at work alongside French and spend a year abroad then this is the degree for you. Our International Relations with French degree programme offers you the opportunity to: • Choose a level 3 module The ‘National Assembly for Wales Internship’ (PO3000) which is open to International Relations students, available during semester one for up to twenty students. You will work for an AM at the National Assembly in Cardiff for one day per week for a semester. • Choose Politics modules. • Spend your third year in France. You can study at a University, teach in a school or work in a business during your year abroad in France. • Combine intensive language tuition with optional modules relating to a wide variety of aspects of society and culture in the French-speaking world. 91% of our graduates are employed within six months of graduating according to the latest DLHE 2015 figures. Our Employability Officer supports our students with information and advice which is backed up by the University’s Careers Service and Work Placement Team. All students have access to events, workshops and employer talks, including an annual conference for students in June to support final year students with the transition into the world of work.
