If you are interested in developing your knowledge of world language and culture of France and Spain and you would like to spend a year abroad then this is the degree for you. Our French and Spanish degree programme offers you the opportunity to: • Combine intensive language tuition with optional modules relating to a wide variety of aspects of society and culture. • Spend your third year abroad either studying at a University, teaching in a school or working in a business. • Be taught by staff who are experts in film, gender studies, medieval and early modern literature, theatre studies, travel writing and translation studies and students benefit from our active research in these areas. • A strong Welsh-medium provision which is available for this programme. 91% of our graduates are employed within six months of graduating according to the latest DLHE 2015 figures. Our Employability Officer supports our students with information and advice which is backed up by the University’s Careers Service and Work Placement Team. All students have access to events, workshops and employer talks, including an annual conference for students in June to support final year students with the transition into the world of work.
