Terrorism and Criminology

Our BA (Hons) Terrorism and Criminology degree will provide you with a critical understanding of crime, terrorism and deviance at both national and international levels. The course is ideal for those interested in addressing pressing areas of concern in contemporary societies. During your degree, you'll also assess different theoretical perspectives on terrorism and crime, and develop an understanding of various research methods in the analysis of criminal, deviant and socially harmful activities facing society today. The course has links with local organisations, working with offenders and supporting different communities. We also work closely with Arch – Stoke-on-Trent’s domestic violence prevention programme. In addition, we welcome regular visits from speakers engaged in active campaigns and change makers, to give a real insight into their respective fields of expertise.
