Digital Film and Post Production Technology (with a placement year)

This BSc degree is for people who want to specialise in editing, colour grading and post production effects. Accredited by Creative Skillset, our degree combines technical, creative and artistic learning. If you dream of becoming a renowned video or film editor, or if you love short films, feature films, television, documentaries or music videos, this course could be for you. It’s ideal if you want to specialise in editing, colour grading or post production effects. Our strong links with industry will help you to secure a work placement that will, ultimately, be critical to your early success as a filmmaker or post production specialist. You’ll also get to work on live industry briefs and listen to guest speakers who will provide inspiration. Our academics and alumni have worked on BAFTA, Emmy and Oscar nominated films. They have exhibited and premiered films at festivals such as Raindance, the Berlin International Film Festival, the Melbourne International Film Festival, the Galway Film Fleadh and London Short Film Festival. On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BSc (Hons) Digital Film and Post Production Technology **Work placements** You will attend a work placement between the second and final years of the course, our placement staff will work with you to identify a suitable location for your work placement. Please also note that you are responsible for any costs incurred in travelling to and from your work placement, and for any accommodation costs.
