Cyber Security

Our Cyber Security degree will give you the knowledge you need to become a specialist within the important and growing area of cyber security. Any organisation that has a computer network or uses the Internet has a potential security risk and will need help to protect their systems and data. If you’re interested in becoming a computing professional within the growing area of cyber security, we will give you the knowledge you need to become a specialist. The course combines theory and practice, as well as cyber security. You'll learn the underpinning technical areas of hardware, software and networked systems. You’ll also get to use our dedicated, self-contained lab. The lab has its own private internal visualised network and contains some of the latest security equipment and software including biometric measurement equipment. On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BSc (Hons) Cyber Security
