You'll also visit organisations such as the British Chamber of Commerce and the Department for International Trade. In Year 3, we offer a real life project with leading private businesses, government bodies and third sector organisations. Our course tutors have experience working for a range of international businesses.They regularly publish in leading academic journals, and deliver talks to businesses and the economic community. Areas of research include banking and finance, globalisation, sustainability and corporate governance. This degree will equip you with good commercial awareness and help prepare you for a career in many sectors such as finance, business, consulting and management. Graduates could pursue careers as economists in the City of London, in management positions nationally and internationally, and in the private and public sectors. In addition, many students could progress to study at postgraduate level.
