Tourism Management

Examining how we might manage tourism activities in a more sustainable and ethical way is a key aim of the programme. You will gain a sound knowledge of the tourism industry and the business environment as well as acquiring a range of subject specific and transferable skills. Your degree will arm you with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to work in a wide range of tourism management contexts as well as preparing you to meet the challenges of developing and managing tourism activities in a sustainable way. Fieldwork opportunities, both at home and abroad, will enable you to apply concepts and ideas in ‘real world’ situations and to engage with tourism issues in a practical context.
