Physiotherapy (Pre-registration)

This course has been specifically designed to develop qualified practitioners who are proactive, flexible and able to meet the changing needs of health and social care. This course is suited to graduates ofhealth and life science disciplines with a desire to pursuea career in Physiotherapy. Students on this course will undertake learning via a variety of methods in order to become practitioners who are proactive, flexible and able to meet the changing needs of health and social care. Graduates of this MSc programme are critical thinkers and independent learners with problem-solving skills. Teaching and learning methodsinclude classroom based learning, simulated practical exercises, self-directed learning and practiceplacements, which are undertaken in a variety of healthcare environments including acute NHS hospital trusts, community-based services, mental health trusts and private hospitals. It is fully accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is available to students from within the UK and Internationally. Course highlights include: Shared campus with one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. This course is taught in partnership with Kingston University. You will benefit from a large, multifaculty experience combined with the health science expertise offered by St George’s.
