This course is for students who already have a qualifying foundation degree, HND or equivalently accredited qualifications. Marketing is a business function that proves vital in increasingly dynamic, competitive and demanding commercial environments. It is about addressing customer demand, building brand value and being a better choice. Marketing management is all about thinking from the outside in, addressing customer choice, being different from the competition and building brand relationships. You are providing solutions for which there is an established demand, something with a special meaning to customers and closely targetting business effort. This degree is designed to support you as a team leader or first line manager in launching your career. It provides the knowledge and skills you need for entrepreneurial, customer led and market driven business practice. You study business strategy and change management, brand and reputation management, global marketing, new product development, implementing and leveraging marketing operations. Options include exploring contemporary marketing issues and customer psychology, language and a raft of operational, personnel and financial business electives. This is a one year long programme. There is no dissertation.
