The Royal College of Music’s Junior Year Experience Programme provides overseas students in their third year of university study with the opportunity for intensive practical work at the RCM in London. It enables those who have already achieved a high standard to consolidate their technique and widen their musical experience over a whole academic year. The Junior Year Experience Programme is ideal for Junior Year overseas students who want to experience studying and living in London for a whole year. Most international higher education institutions will give credit for Junior Years or semesters abroad. Applicants must be able to meet BMus(Hons) entry requirements and provide an academic transcript of their first two years of undergraduate study. Places on the Junior Year Experience Programme are only offered to those who show high levels of ability, potential and motivation. Successful Experience Programme students are provided with a full transcript at the end of their studies, together with a certificate of study, and can attend the RCM Graduation Ceremony in July.
