Countryside Management (Top-up)

The demands on the countryside to provide and maintain the resources needed for food and non-food production, coupled with the increasing requirement for public access, leisure activities and environmental protection have increased the need for appropriately qualified managers and advisers. This course builds on environmental and landscape knowledge from previous studies to provide the necessary policy and business expertise required of future countryside managers. Our graduates go on to pursue careers within the conservation or countryside management sectors, working within statutory bodies, NGOs, county councils, country parks and large farms and estates. For part-time study, please contact the Admissions Office for more information.
