This programme provides you with the education, knowledge, and skills necessary to gain employment in business and rural enterprises. You will explore core business disciplines alongside the dynamic nature of enterprise, developing creativity and innovation skills and promoting new ideas. The programme is jointly delivered with our partners at Cirencester College, combining the expertise and resources of both institutions. It is structured to meet the needs of three distinct categories of students: those entering higher education direct from school or college, mature students who wish to change or develop a new career, and those using the programme as part of their agreed professional development with their employer, who may be attending on a part-time basis. It will be taught at the University campus by highly-qualified lecturers from both institutions. Students complete a period of compulsory work experience during the summer holiday between the first and second year. This will allow them to put the knowledge and skills that they have gained in the first year into practice in the workplace. Upon successful completion of the foundation degree, students have the opportunity to progress on to the final year of the BSc (Honours) International Business Management course at the RAU. Progression opportunities will also be available at other universities. For part-time study, please contact the Admissions Office for more information.
