This 3-year BA (Hons) Opera Performance Studies is run in collaboration with Associated Studios. It is designed to afford you a period of intensive practical study of the essential skills required to build a successful career in Opera. The programme aims to develop you as all-round performers. During the intensive practical phase of the course, students study three days per week based at Associated Studios. The academic study is designed to provide a theoretical underpinning that supports your practice and covers aspects of opera as a performance art - analyzing directing styles, composition, researching libretti, understanding the social history of opera, Lieder and much more.
