Rehabilitation in Sport and Exercise

The aim of this one year progression course is to develop the knowledge and ability to create and implement rehabilitation programmes which successfully return athletes to full functional fitness. The course is only available for individuals who have completed two years of a BASRaT accredited programme. The course is the perfect route into a career in sport and exercise rehabilitation, with a firm focus on developing students’ employability and motivating them to achieve their ambitions. It rests on two main principles - technical knowledge and scientific understanding. Tutors also encourage students to develop a critical awareness of current trends in sport and exercise rehabilitation, and learn how to apply these in a working environment.
