This exciting degree course is designed for those who want to specialise in composition, production and orchestration of music for Film and Television. Students will develop modern skills in all areas of music production and composition and will be equipped with a depth of understanding, making successful graduates an employable asset in areas of modern media practice such as film, computer games, television, music technology, radio, advertising and animation. There is also careful consideration to equip sound specialists with an ability to think critically about modern sound production. There is an emphasis here on contemporary sound practices, examining the modes of sound production within the moving image context, whilst always referring to classic production techniques that still stand the test of time.
