This is a combined honours course, where you study Business Management alongside International Relations. Business Management gives you the opportunity to develop both the practical skills and insights necessary to make decisions in the complex and unpredictable context of business today. After graduation you will have a broad knowledge of business and management which will enable you to add value to an organisation right from the start. International Relations studies world affairs and examines some of the critical issues of modern and contemporary times, such as the changing nature of international co-operation and conflict; the impact of globalisation on states and societies; and the persistence of world problems such as poverty, human rights and global environmental degradation. Our Centre for Global Politics, Economy, and Society has three research groups in Critical International Studies, European Politics and Society, and Social and Political Change. Teaching staff are active researchers with strong publication records.
