You’ll also have the exciting option to either work or study in France during your third year. This qualification will give you a competitive edge to find employment either in the UK or abroad. 95% of our French joint honours undergraduates are in work or further study within just six months of finishing their degree (DLHE 2015-16). Many of our undergraduates from this course have decided to teach English nationally and internationally and are teaching from private language schools to teaching refugees and asylum seekers in many UK colleges. Other students are teaching English and French internationally or working for blue chip companies. Some students have gone on to study at Masters level in TESOL, English Language Teaching or Applied Linguistics.
