Our joint honours degrees enable you to have the maximum flexibility to study subject areas that truly interest you. FRENCH at NTU has been created to ensure a quick learning progress of the French language and an in-depth understanding of the societies and cultures in which it is spoken. You'll also have be offered an exciting option to either work or study in France during your third year. NTU’s French courses are in the UK's Top 15 for student satisfaction (NSS 2017). This course will help you gain an impressive communicative skill, develop your accuracy and fluency. You'll also be able to take a final year module that develops translation and interpreting skills which you'll be able to utilise in your future careers. SPANISH at NTU has been created to ensure that you gain a quick learning of the language and an in-depth understanding of the societies and cultures in which it's spoken. You’ll also have an exciting option to either work or study in Spain or South America during your third year to practically apply your learning and gain independence. Much of the teaching for this joint honours degree will take place by using the latest language-teaching methodologies and CALL technologies. This course will help you to gain impressive communicative skills whilst developing your accuracy and fluency within both modern languages. French at NTU is offered as a post A-level subject as it explores the French language, country and culture through many lively options. The course has been created to ensure a quick learning progress of the French language and an in-depth understanding of the societies and cultures in which it is spoken. You'll also have the exciting option to either work or study in France during your third year. This course will help you to gain an impressive communicative skill whilst developing your accuracy and fluency. You'll quickly enhance your language skills through the use of French language classes which will explore areas of French culture, society and politics. To help improve your career prospects you'll be able to take a final year module that will develop your translation and interpretation skills. Spanish at NTU has been created to ensure that you gain a quick learning of the language and an in-depth understanding of the societies and cultures in which it's spoken. NTU’s Spanish courses are in the UK’s Top 20 for student satisfaction (NSS 2017). You can study the language at beginner or GCSE level, so you won’t need any prior knowledge of the Spanish language. The course will educate you on contemporary Spanish and Latin American culture, politics and society. You’ll also have an exciting option to either work or study in Spain or South America during your third year to practically apply your learning and gain an independence in a foreign country. Much of the teaching for this joint honours degree will take place by using the latest language-teaching methodologies and CALL technologies. This course will help you to gain impressive communicative expertise whilst developing your accuracy and fluency within both modern languages which will support you with many potential careers in the UK or overseas.
