This course explores a wide range of issues and the ways in which education policy affects practice. Based around the core threads of sociology, psychology and social policy, it allows you to explore education in its broadest sense and education practice within a variety of contexts. You will look at the processes and philosophies around learning, how education is constructed and impacts social justice and inequalities, and the influences of policy changes on education and the curriculum.
