TESOL with Japanese - Manchester Metropolitan University

Combine strong language skills with the skills to teach others English, and you’ll find a future in classrooms all over the world. Together, these two courses offer a range of skills that can take you far, not only developing the language skills allowing you to explore Japan’s culture and society, but also with the expertise to share your knowledge with others in every corner of the globe. Your TESOL units will give you the techniques you’ll need to teach English to others – showing you how to analyse and apply different methods and materials, while building a repertoire of useful activities for your future pupils. You’ll also study the language on a technical level, understanding the sounds and key grammatical features of English. Japanese: Japanese is spoken by about 125 million people and the number of UK graduates who can communicate in Japanese and write Japanese scripts is limited, so learning the language will give you a competitive edge. Admissions at Beginners level only.
