Business Management (Top up)

***Manchester Metropolitan University is currently undertaking a review of long-term academic provision on the Cheshire campus. Once a preferred option has been agreed, there is the possibility that some courses may not run. While the review is ongoing, the University will continue to accept applications for courses delivered at Cheshire and starting in September 2017 but will not process those applications until more is known in respect of the future of the campus. We are unlikely to be able to give clarity around the future of specific courses until Spring 2017.***We offer a Business Management programme where you can study general Business Management incorporating all key business functions: Marketing, Finance, Enterprise, People Management and Strategy, or you may choose to specialise in one of four degree pathways: Financial Management, Marketing, Logistics and Enterprise. We regularly host masterclasses and field trips featuring different globally recognised brands from all sectors, including Virgin Trains, Bentley Motors, Heineken International, Q-Hotels, Mercedes Benz and Caudwell Children’s Hospice. Winner of Apprenticeship Development Scheme award at the 2015 UK Rail Industry Awards, for our RedTrack Business Management degree in partnership with Virgin Trains. A business startup unit – Innospace – is located on campus, which has seen students open successful businesses within different sectors. There are opportunities to participate in business competitions and gain advice from successful entrepreneurs and business consultants. Previously, students participated in a real-world case study featuring Bentley Motors, and the winners received a behind-the-scenes tour of Bentley’s Headquarters. The South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce recently opened an office at the Cheshire campus, which will allow us to further develop our relationship with local organisations.
