Food Science (New Product Development)

This course is ideal for those interested in studying food science with an emphasis on new product innovation and development. In addition to key concepts in food science, students will explore the creative and technical aspects of food product development and gain hands on practical skills in this exciting and rapidly expanding area of food technology. Research based teaching will inform the learning experience throughout. LSBU has state of the art food preparation and food evaluation laboratories and students will also be taught by Association for Nutrition accredited lecturers and experienced industry trained food scientists.
