The BA (Hons) Business Management with Chinese Business Practice is offered in response to the growing demand in the labour market for graduates with both business competence and a knowledge of modern China. The aim of the Business Management with Chinese Business Practice course is to equip students for a variety of future careers, with a subject specialism in the area of Business and Management, particularly within the Chinese market or with Chinese organisations. Both the IMF and the World Bank now rate China as the world’s largest economy based on Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), a measure that adjusts countries’ GDPs for differences in prices, and the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) China’s economy will surpass the US in most measures by 2029. This course enables students to study organisations, their management, and the changing external environment in which they operate, with a particular emphasis on how business is conducted in China. In addition to the career opportunities provided by the BA Business Management degree, there are for any ambitious business management graduate who understands China - its rapidly developing economy, its political influence and its culture - plenty of career options.
