You’ll also develop an appreciation of the business management environment through the study of real life business issues. In addition, you’ll study every aspect of marketing - a critically important management activity for any successful organisation – including contemporary academic thinking and research in the marketing area. Together with your tutors, you’ll examine and test the applicability of these theories in the context of the current business environment. You’ll also have the option to study a wide range of complementary topics including essential psychology for managers, Islamic finance and delivering customer value. As part of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to undertake short and long accredited work placements. These are organised via our team at the business placements office, who will will help you to search and apply for posts in a wide variety of organisations, giving you the industry experience you need to succeed in your career.
