Sport Psychology

Sport Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behaviour in the particular context of sport and physical activity, whether this is at an elite, youth or recreational level. Sport Psychologists investigate the learning and performance of motor skills, the facilitation and optimisation of sport performance and the impact of personality and motivation on performance. You will consider social variables affecting behaviour and performance in sports, and the influence of sport on the development of personality, social relationships and behaviour.
