Special Educational Needs: Special Educational Needs at Hope provides an outstanding programme that includes insights from sociology, history, psychology and philosophy to inform understandings of special educational needs, disability and inclusion within educational settings. Sport and Physical Education: Sport & Physical Education is a multidisciplinary subject delivered in a way that ensures graduates leave the institution with the skills to enable them to find employment. The philosophy of the curriculum is to deliver a skills-based theoretical, practical and applied experience which is underpinned by a foundation in subject knowledge and research skills. With these aims in mind the teaching activities range from traditional lectures, to seminars and tutorials supported by practical sessions both on the campus and at the University’s Field Centre in Snowdonia National Park, Wales. Students will have the opportunity to explore in detail a wide variety of principles and practices in different sports underpinned by both a theoretical and practical approach.
