Popular Music: The Popular Music combined honours programme is designed to equip students with the appropriate academic knowledge and skills to enter the contemporary popular music industries. The programme is designed along three strands: 'Studying Popular Music', 'Playing Popular Music' and 'The Business of Popular Music'. Each of these strands is designed to interact, but also represent discrete opportunities for students to specialise in very specific areas. Social Policy: Social Policy draws on politics, sociology, economics and history to offer an in-depth study of the subject. You will look at the various ways in which societies are organised to meet the health, educational and welfare needs of their citizens.
