Built around a mixture of one-to-one tuition, ensemble work and seminars, this highly collaborative course will shape students into fine specialist performers or composers, while developing the versatility they’ll need to succeed as a working, creative Jazz musician. The course focuses on developing technique and musicianship and the issues of style and repertoire, alongside composition, musicology and critical listening skills. Professional skills are also embedded throughout.
