Music (Classical with Production)

Our BA (Hons) Music programme is split into Specialist Study, Contextual Studies and Professional Studies. This degree allows you to choose your major and minor concentration within the Specialist Study strand, i.e. your one-to-one classes will be in your major – Classical, your group study in your minor - Production. Our Classical Pathway allows you to become a consummate yet flexible performer or composer equipped to pursue a portfolio career in a fast-moving industry. Our Music Production pathway underpins your flair as a composer with the practical skills necessary to become a practical music producer using industry standard software. Combining the two enables you to enhance your abilities in one area with thorough knowledge of another and collaborate even more readily with other musicians.
