Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession which involves working with people to improve their own health and wellbeing. You will learn to use physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical function. During your studies on campus and work placements, you will develop collaborative working skills, putting them into practice working with patients, their carers and other health professionals. Your course will encourage reflective practice to aid your professional development. **PLACEMENTS** Throughout your three years of study with us you will have the opportunity to experience placements within a variety of health and social care settings, including sports clubs, schools and private clinics in speciality areas such as cardio vascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurology and paediatrics. You will also have the chance to get involved with many volunteering activities, and we have partnerships with local and international charities. Plus, guest speakers from a range of clinical specialities will support your lectures and practical sessions. **REHABILITATION LABS** Our state of the art facilities allow for the practical application of anatomy, mobilisation, electrotherapy, massage, heat therapy, cardio vascular and respiratory testing, physiology, anthropometry, rehabilitation and first aid.
